This year we will continue to feature Pet Run in the Virtual Run format!

* There are no rankings, awards and time limit for Lifewire Virtual Run. The rules and arrangements of Virtual Run are different. Please refer to this page for more information.
* Registration fee is non-refundable & non-transferable under any circumstances. In the event of cancellation or delay, further notice will be given.
Virtual Run Instructions
  1. Select Virtual Run at the Race Category Section (only apply to eligible race category)
  2. Upon receiving “Race Pack Pick Up Email Notice”, pick up your runner race pack on the designated dates.
  3. Before starting your run, install a running app to record the time, date, and the route.
  4. From 8 December 2023 – 8 January 2024, wear your bib number and complete the run.
  5. Upload valid running records (screenshots) to the registration system before 8 January 2024:
    1. Login to Runner Dashboard
    2. Click Upload Result at the Race Registration Page
    3. Enter the completion time and date. (the contact person is responsible for inputting the information of all team members simultaneously)
    4. Upload running record (screenshots) that clearly indicate completion time and date. Each file cannot be larger than 1MB
    5. Click "Confirm" to complete the submission
  6. Share your amazing Lifewire Run record to Facebook or Instagram and hashtag #LifewireRunTsingYi #LifewireRun2023 #LifewirePetRun.
Virtual Run Important Notes
  • Except under explicit arrangement by the Organizer, participants cannot change competition categories or change to physical/virtual run after registration. The organizer reserves the right to cancel race records or qualifications.
  • The uploaded record must clearly display the date, time and route of the run to be deemed valid.
  • The running record can only be uploaded once and cannot be changed after submission.
  • Participants can download the E-certificate of completion from the Runner Dashboard once they upload the race record successfully.
  • Participants can collect the finisher medal at the designated location from 11am to 7:30pm on 8- 19 January 2024 (Except public holidays). Please make appointment in advance

  • Participants and their guardians should ensure road conditions are suitable for all runners and pet and take precautionary measures to safeguard them from the heat.
  • Should there be any emergencies or should participants require assistance during the event, please contact the Organizer at (852) 3758 8701 / 6290 9985.
  • The period for Lifewire Virtual Run is from 8 December 2023 to 8 January 2024 11:59pm UTC+8. Late submissions will not be accepted.
  • The Organizer will not bear any legal liability for any problems due to computer, network, telephone, technical issues or any other reasons thereof that may cause delays in submitting runner records.
  • This is a self-regulated challenge. No cheating, dishonesty, or bad sportsmanship will be tolerated.
  • All comments containing violence, obscenity, vulgarity, nudity, discrimination, and possible illegal or inappropriate behavior are prohibited. The company reserves the right to cancel the registration and record of relevant participants.
  • Event participation and souvenir redemption are conditional and can only be obtained when the above conditions are met during the event period. Participants should contact the Organizer for any inquiries about the event.

Virtual Run FAQ

Can I exchange T-shirt size/triangle scarf size?

T-shirt and triangle scarf sizes are provided on a first come first served basis and subject to availability. The Organizer does not warrant any size requests.

How can I receive the Certificate of Completion?

All finishers will be able to download an e-Certificate of Completion on the runner dashboard at run.lifewire.hk once they upload the race record successfully.

How do I upload my race record?
  1. Before starting your run, install a running app to record the time, date, and the route.

Which running app should I use?

You can use any application capable of recording the time and distance of your run.

Can running records before the start of the event be counted?

The Organizer only accepts running records within the indicated period: 8 December 2023 – 8 January 2024. Records before and after the specified date will not be accepted.

Can I bring my pet along to participate at the Event's race route?

Participants may bring their pet to the event at their own discretion. Participants are responsible for looking after their pet. The Organizer will not be responsible for any accident or loss incurred.
