Although the Lifewire Run 2025 has been cancelled, our commitment to care continues without pause.
All funds raised will remain dedicated to the core mission of Lifewire Run: supporting families affected by rare diseases.
In addition, we have donated HK$500,000 to the Support Fund for Wang Fuk Court to provide relief and assistance to residents impacted by the recent incident in Tai Po.
Lifewire Run will continue to uphold its mission of protecting children with rare diseases, raising public awareness, and offering practical support to affected families.

We, along with the wider community, are deeply saddened by the tragic five-alarm fire at Wang Fuk Court, Tai Po, which has resulted in severe casualties. After careful consideration, we have decided to CANCEL Lifewire Run 2025 , originally scheduled for Sunday, December 7, 2025 . We hope that society can focus its resources on mutual support and care for those affected by the disaster.

To stand with the affected individuals during this difficult time, we wish to contribute our humble efforts. We pledge to allocate 500k donation proceeds to "Support Fund for Wang Fuk Court in Tai Po", to assist the victims in overcoming these hardships. The remaining funds will go toward supporting families of children with rare diseases. We extend our deepest condolences to the victims, heartfelt sympathies to the affected families, and our best wishes for a speedy recovery to the injured. We also pay tribute to all the rescue personnel for their dedication and bravery.

We sincerely apologize for any inconvenience this cancellation may cause to our participants, sponsors, volunteers, partners, and supporters. Thank you for your understanding. Your care and support mean a lot to us and the entire community.

This year’s Lifewire Run 2025 offers a paid pet shuttle service,
making it easier to bring your furry companions to join the 1km Pet Walk.
Simply register and purchase your bus ticket in advance,
and on December 7, you can board the shuttle directly
to the Love Run venue—DB Plaza.

Even if you're not bringing a pet, you're welcome to ride the shuttle.

Lifewire Run 2024 was successfully held on Sunday, December 1st in Tseung Kwan O. Ir. Lau Chun-kit, Ricky, JP, Permanent Secretary for Development (Works), Mr. Tai Sheung-shing, Victor, JP, Deputy Secretary for Housing, and Ms. Minnie Soo Wai Yam, MH, a Hong Kong table tennis player, served as officiating guests. The event was supported by several government departments, agencies and about 2,500 athletes.

This year, a physical pet walk was held for the first time, attracting many pet lovers to participate with their pets, adding a lot of laughter and joy to the event.

Lifewire Run 2024 Lifewire’s annual large-scale charity event, entered its seventh edition this year. After deducting costs, all the funds raised will be donated to support sick children and promote awareness and support for rare diseases.

This year's event invited star host Johnny to be the host of the event. Two Lifewire run ambassadors, including senior artist Ms. Lana Wong Wai Lin and Mr. Man Lim Chung, who won the Hong Kong Film Awards (HKFA) Best Art Direction award, they were also present to cheer and support the athletes., encouraging them to care for patients with rare diseases and to create an inclusive society together.

The much-anticipated Lifewire Run designs unique runner souvenirs and awards for runners every year. This year, in addition to the quick-drying and breathable professional running shirt included in the runner's bag, a limited number of high-top lightweight air-cushioned running socks (friction-free, seamless toe smooth stitching, cushioning and other designs) are also on sale.
Simply present your bib/registration confirmation email when collecting your runner's bag (November 22-24) or on the day of the Lifewire Run 2024 (December 1) to purchase additional items at a discounted price of $59. (For non-runners can ordered at the regular price of $89), while supplies last.

"Lifewire Run 2023" physical run successfully concluded on Tsing Yi Promenade. Congratulations to all winners and thanks to all participants.

Although the temperature dropped sharply the day before the competition, everyone's enthusiasm made Lifewire and the children feel warm.

Thanks to Lifewire Run Ambassador Sammy So and winner of Hong Kong Film Award for Best Art Direction Man Lim Chung for leading the 8-kilometer race and kicking off the full-day event.

Sammy finished the "Hong Kong Streetathon" half marathon early in the morning, wrapped himself in a thermal blanket and rushed to Tsing Yi to attend the opening ceremony.

Thank you to Lifewire Run Ambassador Lana Wong Wai Lin for persisting in completing the 1km fun run with Hester Chan(a patient with an unknown rare disease) to bring the event to an end.

This year's "Lifewire Run" has not ended yet, since there is still an online "Pet Running" participant, participant can upload the results before January 8, 2024.

Although "Lifewire Run 2023" coincides with other large-scale events, and there is a volunteer shortage in each event, many volunteers have agreed to help Lifewire Run and vowed to help us do our best under such a shortage of manpower. Well, Chun Wo Group also has a team to help make the number of volunteers exceed 250!

Thanks to the help from all walks of life, including a number of sponsoring merchants and groups, the Lifewire Run was able to be successfully held.
