Is there any age limit for entering?

When do entries close?

The deadline for registration is 6 November 2024. No late entries will be accepted.

Can I get a refund if I found that I can’t join the event after enrollment?

No, registration fee and donations are non-refundable & non-transferable once registration has been confirmed.

What should I do if I have submitted enrollment form online but do not receive any confirmation?

A confirmation message will be shown once you have successfully completed registration. An additional confirmation email will be sent to you via email. If you do not receive the confirmation email, please check your “Junk Mail”. If you still have not found the confirmation email, please email run@lifewire.hk or call 3758 8701 / 6290 9985 (Monday to Friday 09:00-18:00) for enquiry.

What kind of credit cards can I use to enroll online?

We accept Visa, MasterCard, American Express and Union Pay. However, some card issuing banks do not support online payment. Please check with your own card issuing bank for details.

How does the Organizer handle my personal information?

We collect and handle all personal data in strict confidence and in compliance with the Personal Data (Privacy) Ordinance, please refer to our Personal Information Collection Statement for our personal information collection practices.

Can I collect my Race Pack if I have not received the Race Pack collection email?

If you have not received the Race Pack Collection email by 17 November 2024, please contact our staff at(852) 3758 8701 / 6290 9985 for assistance. Only those with the Race Pack Collection email can collect their Race Pack.

Can I authorize a representative to collect the Race Pack on my behalf?

Yes, you can authorize a representative to collect the Race Pack for you. He/she must present a printed or soft copy of the Race Pack Collection email to our staff at the collection point.

Can I collect the Runner's Pack on the race day?

No race bibs, pins, baggage tags, Runner's Guides or event t-shirts will be distributed on the event day.

Where are the starting and finishing points?

Both the starting and finishing points are at Tseung Kwan O (South) Landing (Tseung Kwan O South Waterfront Promenade (Check on the map). (The route may change due to road conditions without prior notice. Please refer to our latest announcement.)

What are the public transportation arrangements on the event day?

Participants can easily reach the venue by MTR via the Tseung Kwan O line.

Are there any special arrangements for wheelchair participants?

Wheelchairs participants are welcomed to join the 1KM Fun Run. Wheelchair participants will be escorted to the starting point by the race officials. The event will not be delayed due to on-site wheelchair adjustments.

Do I need to register on the day?

No. You should have your official bib attached to the front of your T-shirt upon arrival at the Assembly Point for identification. The Officials will be authorized to check your entry validity. You may deposit your baggage on site and then proceed to the Starting Zone.

If I lost or forget to bring my bib on the event day, can I redeem it on site?

No bib will be distributed on the event day. Runners are responsible for safekeeping of their gear pack and bib as these items will NOT be reissued. If you forget to bring your bib, you will be disqualified and will not be allowed to join the race. In addition, race bibs are non-transferrable.

What if I lost my gear pack or the bib?

Runners are responsible for safekeeping of their gear pack and bib as these items will NOT be reissued.

Can I use another runner’s bib or let another runner use mine?

No. Please note that both bib and timing chip are non-transferable. You must NOT transfer your bib and the timing chip to another person and participate in the race, or both persons will be disqualified. Amongst other potential problems, doing so may cause problems of identification for the event medical services in the case of any accident or injury.

Is there any baggage storage service on site?

Yes, the Organizer will provide free baggage storage service. Please store your baggage at least 20 minutes before the race starts. There may be queues at the baggage area, please allow sufficient time to complete bag drop. Please do not bring any valuable belongings. The Organizer will not be responsible for any loss or damage incurred. You must collect your baggage before the counters close at 12 noon.

Is there any water station and first-aid service?

Water stations and first-aid stations are located near the starting, midway and finishing points of the race.

Where are the toilet facilities?

You may use the toilet facilities located at the starting and finishing point.

What is the time limit for each race?

When will the awards be presented?

Winners must attend the on-site Prize Presentation Ceremony at 11:45-13:15 a.m. to receive their awards and prizes.

When and where can I check my result?

The list of winners can be found at the finishing point on the event day. Runners can check their results on the runner dashboard starting from late December 2024.

How can I receive the Certificate of Completion?

All finishers will be able to download an E-Certificate of Completion on the runner dashboard at run.lifewire.hk 2 weeks after the event.

Is there any age limit for entering?

There is no minimum age requirement for 1km Fun Run & Pet Walk.

Can I exchange T-shirt size/triangle scarf size?

T-shirt and triangle scarf sizes are provided on a first come first served basis and subject to availability. The Organizer does not warrant any size requests.

How can I receive the Certificate of Completion of Pet Walk?

All finishers will be able to download an E-Certificate of Completion on the runner dashboard at run.lifewire.hk 2 weeks after the event.

Can I bring my pet along to participate in the Physical Run?

Participants may bring their pet to the Physical Run at their own discretion. Participants are responsible for looking after their pet. The Organizer will not be responsible for any accident or loss incurred.
